When to start opening routine, in UK

Hi, when would you recommend I start the opening routine for a UK in ground pool please?

Having looked at the steps in the pinned post they appear to need to be done over a week or two.

Is there any disadvantage in doing it too early in spring?

The only disadvantage is it will be to cold to swim unless you heat it
You could take a look, check your numbers and start cleaning it
I have a covered heated pool all year so I don't have a closing and opening routine
