I have an above ground pool and no matter how much I tighten the hose clamps and attempt to seal the return fitting with silicone, I can't seem to stop the leak. I have tried using two hose clamps parallel to each other, as well as threading two clamps together to allow tightening on either side of the hose, but the leak is worse than ever. This is the 6th year I've had the pool, and the leak seems to be worse than ever.
The store where I purchased the pool does not recommend using any kind of adhesive on the fittings or hoses, perhaps because the hoses are meant to be easily removed if they get a hole or at the end of the season. Does anyone have any suggestions? We have already lost 3 weeks of our very short summer season in New England, and our kids are very disappointed.

I am having a similar problem with the hoses, were you able to figure out how to fix this? Thanks.
