GROUND WATER!

Postby jhill0014 » Wed 11 May, 2022 07:52

Hello. I am trying to do some patching on my inground pool but I can't eliminate all of the ground water in the deep end.
I have been pumping water out of an auxiliary ground water shaft that runs parallel to the deep end.
However, water is still coming up through the hydrostatic valve in the drain.

I feel I am spinning my wheels. Please help.

I would be inclined to to temporary block the hydrostatic valve (maybe put a weight on it) and work really fast to repair it at the low level while still pumping out from the ground water shaft
