New pump won’t start

Postby 417graber » Mon 13 Jul, 2020 01:29

We just installed a new pump/filter (intex sf60110-2)
When we turned it on the led screen showed 8.8.
Never got past that. The pump won’t come on. Nothing happens when you push the unlock button. When you push the timer button it flashes 00 very quickly and then either goes back to the 8.8. OR just shuts off. To get it to do anything after that it has to be unplugged and then it goes back to 8.8. Any suggestions are appreciated!

I picked up on this forum
I can't find anything else about pump in error code. Is it a salt water system

I had 88 code and thought it was stuck in that mode. Turns out I had to hold down the left button for almost 6 seconds until it "beeps", then hold down right button for about 6 seconds until next "beeps". That unlocked the keypad and works great now.

Yep, just hold the down key (left side) til it beeps, then hold the up key (right) til it beeps, then you'l get 00. Then press the up arrow til you get the hours you want. This thing is a beast! I left mine out all winter (too lazy/busy to pack everything away). Filter got destroyed and had to be replaced, but this thing fired right up and started pumping out chlorine!

Intex Saltwater System Model 8110
Display Codes:
88 - Startup/Standby
00 - Zero operating hours
01- Minimum operating time 1 hour
02- Operating time - 2 hours
03 - 11 - Operating time in hours
12 - Maximum operating time 12 hours
90 - Alarm - low or no water flow
91 - Alarm - salt level low
92 - Alarm - salt level high
93 - Operating cycle completed / standby
BLANK - No power, or gone into Power Saving Mode

It is not a salt water system. This pump doesn’t have up or down arrows. It only has three buttons. The on/off button, the timer set button , unlock button.

Don't you have a manual with error codes in it
Otherwise contact Intex

There are no error codes listed in the manual. None. I can’t find error codes listed anyplace online. I saw on this forum some people who were stuck in the 88 but they have different model pumps than mine and the solutions they had used pushing buttons that mine doesn’t have. They held down the up arrow button for 6 sec and then the down for 6 sec. and the code cleared. Mine has three buttons. On/off Lock Timer

Did you figure out anything? Just installed ours and it was stuck on an hour now it won't turn on at all.

Anyone ever figure this issue out with the Intex SF601110-2 filter? Mine has power and briefly displays "8.8" upon getting power, but then displays the standby mode "." only. I've tried different combinations of the 3 buttons on the keypad, but nothing unlocks it or takes it out or standby mode.

We are having the same issue, just purchased this pump installed today and it will not show anything on the display. If I push the timer button it beeps.
If I push the lock/unlock button it beeps. The power button does nothing. Nothing shows on the screen. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. I am calling Intex tomorrow.
