Spider Gasket for Purex Triton 27-1140

Hi,

I’m trying to troubleshoot a leaking spider gasket for my Purex triton 27-1140 valve. I went to my local store and purchased what they said I needed. It was difficult to seat it, but finally did. But, it still sticks up a bit and when I install the cover back on, the handle just flops up and down. Seems the gasket is too thick to me. It depresses the valve disk so much that the handle doesn’t really retract the disk from the gasket. I did some searching, but not really sure of the proper gasket. Any advice for me would be greatly appreciated!

Steve
