Hey Everyone,
I just bought a house with a pool, no idea what I'm doing but watching a lot of videos and reading. It's a saltwater pool, but apparently the previous homeowner just dumped a bunch of chlorine in it to clear it up for the sale.
I took water to the pool supply store, they have a plan for me. I'm executing that plan.
However, one of the skimmers (there's two) isn't working. The other seems to be just fine.
I played with some of the valve doohickies, but that didn't do anything. Kinda at a loss on why it's not sucking (in its current state it sucks, but no water is moving).

It sucks but no water moving? What does that mean?
Nothing wrong with dumping a load of chlorine in, saves wearing out the salt cell.

I may not give you the answer you want to hear, but I will give an honest opinion of your situation as you decribe it.

One of the skimmers is sucking, the other is not.
