saltwater pool

Postby bcz06man » Tue 23 May, 2006 21:49

My pool heater has to be replaced after 3 years. They say it is because of the salt water and the corrosion it creates in the boiler.

Anyone have a similar experience and if so how did you solve it.

keep a close eye on your pH levels-if they get to low, you need to get tham back to 7.0

Try a heater with a cupro-nickel heat exchanger. You will find they last longer generally and are better for salt pools.
