Small scratch in resin coating on outside pool wall

Hi all! Thanks so much for all the previous help. I’m doing well so far. Everything is running successfully as of this morning with only two slow leaks to contend with. What’s more concerning now is my plumber accidentally hit the outside sidewall with some channel locks. There is a small scratch. Should i paint something on this to protect the bare metal. If so, what should I use?
