Backwash the filter?

Hi guys,

Pool newbie here.
Just moved into a new place with a saltwater pool and it's using this AstralPool cartridge filter
Do I have to backwash this filter? And how often?

No, cartridge filters have cartridges. The filter is opened, The cartridges are removed and washed.
I may not give you the answer you want to hear, but I will give an honest opinion of your situation as you decribe it.
