In ground pool render and screed

Postby Steamer34 » Mon 03 May, 2021 12:16

Hi

I have recently bought a house with an old swimming pool that was filled in with soil by the previous owner. We have had it dug out and the floor and walls seem to be in good condition.

I have chased out most of the holes and cracks ready to fill them but there are quite a few little holes and scratches which are making me worry. We don't want to line the pool. Is the a way we can "screed" the floor or render the walls to make it water tight.

Thanks

First of all check out the pipework for leaks, it may have been filled in because it was to much trouble to repair
There are numerous finishes for the walls and floor. I would be inclined to pick the brains of the different contractors

Thanks for your reply. We've had the pipework pressure tested and it's all good.
