filling pool

Postby still under construction » Thu 12 Jul, 2007 17:37

Most of my neighbors used a water supply company to fill their pool. I'm trying to decide on the same company or fill using my garden hose. The water will come from our well, as we do not have city water. I'm worried about stains, etc. The length of time to fill is not a problem, but I don't want to burn out my pump either. Any suggestions would help. 42x22 inground, concrete and plaster.

Thats a big pool...40,000 gallons give or take. I don't think I would want to run my well pump that much and would just bite the bullet on the water service. Especially if it is really hard or full of iron.

you just spent 40 - 50,000 dollars on a pool. don't skimp on an $800 water bill. it's not worth it, quit being cheap and have the pool filled with tankers
