House on an Angle! Pool position

Postby cj32991 » Thu 13 Oct, 2022 09:23

My swimming pool construction is due to begin on Monday 10/16. My home is situated in an unusual position on an angle on my plot. I have drawn out lines today which would ensure my pool area is parallel to both my boundary fence and my home/back verandah which overlooks the pool area.

What is everyone’s thoughts on how this looks? The yellow triangle area would be additional exposed aggregate concrete, eventually a black aluminium gate on the border.

Or should I have opted for Parallel to house leaving backyard unusual shape or parallel to fence leaving awkward shape between house.verandah and pool area on approach to pool area?
