Pool Still Under Construction

Postby Cujoboy » Sun 09 Dec, 2007 12:36

We went through major inground pool construction this past fall. They dug up all around the pool and fixed walls, new cement deck, plumbing etc... They didn't take the old liner off until mid November. The deep end is a mess. Holes everywhere, improperly installed grout when it was built, ( 1984 ). Right now my small utility pump is still pumping water out of it. We seem to live on a lake. My question is this: Will it hurt the walls of the pool if it remains empty all winter? Cave in maybe? The pool guy said if we have a mild spell, he can fix it. Cold as heck so far.

Thanks,
