Used ALUM

My pool was cloudy, nothing could clear it up, then I used ALUM, like magic in 24hr it was all sunk to the bottom and my pool was clear, tried to vacuum to waste but couldent do it slow enough to not disturb it and still have water above the skimmer, so i said screw it and I am tring to filter it out, sand filter, backwashing alot. seems to be ok so far but only been 2hrs. Will it be OK?

With any kind of floc you should vacuum all the puffballs off the floor of your pool to waste. It is a pain though...just go slow.
