My niece telephoned one morning and said " Fix the pool".
POOL: above ground Intrex easy pool about 15 feet across four feet deep.
I replied "Ok, cool be right over"
I look at the pool, the pump was broken. The temp fix is a sump pump placed inside a plastic storage box (friction protection). I added a tube with a 90 deg bend at the top. The top is about two inches above the top of the water. Makes for a relaxing sound.
The water had insects and a few leaves, water clear.
I added three gallons of BLEACH and a shock packet.
Now the water is Milky. I will soon replace the pump with a MUSKIN Magna-flo 1 hp w/ a sand filter. I am waiting for a part it is broken also.
Will the milky look go away?
Is there something I need to do?
Something I should not have done?
I have not tested the water PH, CC, FC Ect.
The pool works fine I stayed cool over the weekend. Milky water or not.
Milky water after adding BLEACH.. I would like it clear
