green/yellow floating algae

HELP!!!!!! We have this nasty algae in our pool that floats around when the water is moved by equipment or people. What should I do???

Have the water fully tested by using a good test kit or by bringing a sample into a pool store.

Algae is killed by keeping a high chlorine level, running the filter and brushing the pool. But, you need to have pH and TA and CYA inline to have this be effective.
