I am struggling to figure how to vacuum my pool.
My question is:
= I have no idea how a vacuum works. My pool came with no vacuuming equipment.
= Does the vacuum hose hook into the pool plumbing somehow via a "port" and use the pool pump's suction?
= Are pool vacuums (always) a separate entity from the pool's plumbing systems using their own "suction" source?
= I have seen the "Pool Blaster" product which is basically a hand vac that goes under water. Lots of good reviews...a few horrible reviews. Anyone ever tried this product? Are there other "hand vac" type pool vacuum products besides Pool Blaster?
In short, where does a pool vacuum hook up to?
Many thanks for any info, for i am really starting from scratch on this project of vacuuming my pool.

Re: Vacuuming...............
There are a few options for connecting a vacuum
A port in the wall of the pool or through a plate in the skimmer
Or a robot which is electrical and collects the debris
No experience of Pool Blaster or similar
