Liner seems to be getting bleached

Postby Gov » Tue 28 Jun, 2005 19:01

My liner at the water level and lower seems to be a lot lighter in color than above the water.
Is the chlorine bleaching the liner?
Will it hurt the liner?

I use a granular chlorine with stabilizer daily and add maintance algaecide & clearifier once a week.

Of course the chlorine will harm the liner when you use the granul they go down and sepearting on the surface so it makes the colors dissappearing but you dont have to worry about the liner they are really tough things and if you want to defend this you could use chlorine with mix it with water in a bucket and then spread to pool. Or you could use tablet chlors with a dispenser or chlorinator or with your pump cap.
